Joie Martin owns Drowning Moon Studios, a roleplaying game publisher that has produced over a dozen digital titles and two anthologies since being founded in 2017. Joie has been a key speaker on panels about game design at DragonCon, MomoCon and ChattaCon, and was head judge for the 2020 Indie Groundbreaker Awards. In 2020, Joie founded Indie Game Spotlight, a project dedicated to increasing visibility and supporting designers from marginalized communities in the tabletop gaming industry.
