Crowdfunding for TTRPGs explodes every February, leaving fans feeling like kids in a candy store. What started as a small zine community initiative has become a rallying point for the indie TTRPG industry, giving you everything from small scale gonzo TTRPG weirdness on up to some spiffy and polished indie productions.
Here’s a rundown of 10 indie TTRPG crowdfunding campaigns happening this February, 2024 from our very own IGDN members.
Zero Day War by Wet Ink Games [On Now]
Zero Day War is the first card game from a publishing house full of award-winning and award-nominated games such as Never Going Home, Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Hall, and more family friendly offerings like Heckin' Good Doggos and Garbage & Glory.
In Zero Day War you take on the role of hackers from four different planets intent on taking advantage of a solar cataclysm and its resulting security malfunction and stealing every file they can before the security protocols re-engage!
The campaign ends February 10th at 10 PM and will close with a live Q&A with the designer and publishers. Check out the Kickstarter page here.
Make 100 NPC Cards by High Level Games [On Now]
You may know Silver Ennie award-winning writer Josh Health and High Level Games from such projects as Army Men, and Snowhaven. They’re making 100 NPC cards you can print and play. It's a make 100 project, but there’s no limit of 100 of this particular project.

The Spark System Reference Guide by Genesis of Legend Publishing [On Now]
Genesis of Legend Publishing has released the Spark Roleplaying Game into the public domain after ten years in publication. Now they’re crowdfunding to develop a system reference document and designer's guide so folks can adapt the system for their own games with The Spark System Reference Guide.
The campaign is funding now on Kickstarter running until February 15th. Check it out here.
Solo Martial Blues by Radio James Games [Feb1]
Solo Martial Blues is a one player martial arts TTRPG. You're one violent loner, fighting against all odds, always just one fight from death. Based on the Indie Groundbreaker Award nominated Fight to Survive: Role-playing Martial Arts Meets Heart, this game promises a unique conflict resolution structure, especially among solo games, and plenty of heartfelt martial arts action. This time, you fight alone.

Dwellers of the Bog by The Dungeon's Key [Feb1]
A standalone campaign module and adventure sandbox for Mörk Borg, Dwellers of the Bog is designed with extended play in mind, prioritizing a detailed and immersive setting filled with lore, NPCs, and hooks over a predetermined adventure or rigid plot - and it comes packed with 5 new character classes and 11 dungeons.

The Old Ways Must Go: Tarot for Transformation, from Galileo Games, designed by Samphire Savage [Feb1]
As part of ZineQuest, The Old Ways Must Go presents tools to create new ideas, frameworks, or rituals from outdated, decaying old ones. Deepen your relationship with tarot and each other.

Raiders of the Ghost Zone, from Fainting Goat Games [Feb1]
Raiders of the Ghost Zone is a spooky, sci-fi micro-setting for Savage Worlds, inspired by games like Dead Space, Space Hulk and Deep Sky Derelicts. You'll explore derelict shipwrecks in a sprawling starship graveyard. But beware, for the Ghost Zone is not empty—it's teeming with otherworldly threats, aliens, pirates, and enigmatic adversaries!

Cats of Catthulhu 10th Anniversary Edition by Joel Sparks [Feb6]
It's been ten years, five languages, and 20,000 copies of Cats of Catthulu. Now the stars are right once again for this game of ordinary cats defending humanity from the Chaos gods of the other animals! Revised and expanded, with mewples, cat dice, and a new book of adventures by a star line-up of RPG writers, the 10th Anniversary Edition promises a whole new world of creepy-adorable feline shenanigans.

We Can Be Heroes by BudStuff Games [Feb20]
Awarded "Best Tabletop Game Design" at the Cleveland Gaming Classic for the beta version of the game, We Can Be Heroes is a ~300 page superhero TTRPG that focuses on fast-paced gameplay and explosive action. Heroes navigate a world where decisions in combat and roleplay matter, building their reputation through a Public Merit system.

Love, Career & Magic by Pegasus Games [Feb25]
A collaborative storytelling game set in a fictional reality TV show, Love, Career & Magic “is basically DnD meets party game,” says its publisher.
